学生乐团被困郑州东站，演奏起《我和我的祖国》，网友们破防了……

School concert bands stranded at Zhengzhou East Railway Station in Henan province have helped keep passengers calm by performing patriotic songs when torrential rain and massive flooding hit the provincial capital. More than 160 trains stopped services at the station, stranding a large number of passengers.

据郑州市教育局消息，演奏《我和我的祖国》的学生乐团来自郑州市郑东新区永平路小学“和美之声”管乐团，当日上海展演归来，因暴雨袭城，滞留车站，师生一起演奏《我和我的祖国》，为大家加油打气。

郑州市教育局在其微博贴文评论中说，21日早上八点之前，孩子们已全部安全到家。有的家长来接，家长没有办法接的，学校领导和老师直接护送到家。

The bands are from primary schools of Zhengzhou and were back home from a concert contest in Shanghai, according to the Zhengzhou Municipal Education Bureau. The bureau said all the kids were safely home by 8 am Wednesday after being picked up by their parents or escorted home by teachers.

Their performance of “My motherland and I” and “Ode to the Motherland” moved crowds at the station as well as hundreds of thousands of netizens after people in the audience posted videos of them playing on the internet.

郑州街头互相救助的人们 

在网上流传甚广的一则视频中，暴雨淹没了郑州一处商场地下室，市民齐心协力拉出被困人员。

On social media, a widely-circulated video showing dozens of men yelling and pulling a rope together to hoist out people trapped in an underground shopping mall, got millions of views. 

在另一则视频中，一名困在洪水中的女性被众人拉出漩涡。

In another video, a woman trapped in torrential waters was rescued with the help of several people and she was lifted to safety. 

还有许多酒店、影院、工厂、图书馆、健身房等为受灾民众提供免费住宿场所。

During the heavy rain, a lot of venues including hotels, companies, factories, libraries and gymnasiums opened for free to receive people who were trapped nearby.
