Two Starbucks shops in Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province, were found to change the sell-by date of food materials and sell drinks using expired ingredients. The company has shut the two shops down and launched an investigation.
据《新京报》记者近日在无锡市两家星巴克门店卧底调查发现，在实际操作中，门店店员并未执行星巴克食品安全“金标准”。篡改原料保质日期、使用过期食材、销售过期食品、安全卫生不达标。
Two reporters from The Beijing News carried out undercover investigations at two Starbucks shops in Wuxi from late October to mid-November.
In the video clip that went viral, one staff used unsealed chocolate liquid and matcha liquid to make drinks despite the labels on the liquid bottles showing the materials were expired.
星巴克中国在其官方微博上称：已经关注到有关无锡星巴克两家门店的报道。对于报道中所涉及的食品安全问题，我们深感震惊。
Starbucks China said on Monday that the company was shocked with the food safety problems reported. It has shut down the two shops and an investigation has been launched.
星巴克中国还表示，欢迎社会公众及媒体进行持续监督。上述消息传出后，引发网友热议，“星巴克私换配料标签使用过期食材”的话题冲上微博热搜。
不少网友评论称，“星巴克一杯30多还用过期原料”“无语，奶茶店搞这也就算了，你星巴克死贵还用过期的？”“三十多一杯还作假？”
