4月12日下午，国务院联防联控机制举行新闻发布会，介绍疫情防控最新情况。
当前，疫情仍在高位运行，波及范围进一步扩大，防控正处于关键紧要时期。要继续坚持“动态清零（dynamic zero COVID-19）”总方针不犹豫、不动摇，坚定信心，更加坚决果断，把各项防控措施落实到每一个环节。
发布会上，中国疾控中心流行病学首席专家吴尊友介绍，我国的防控总方针概括起来，就是“动态清零”，为的是尽一切可能保护人民群众的身体健康和生命安全，尤其是保护老年人和婴幼儿等易受病毒危害的群体。

实际上，每个国家都希望能够尽早、尽快地控制本国的新冠疫情。在没有疫苗以前，物理阻隔是最主要防控措施，包括疫情特殊时点限制人员流动，鼓励大家戴口罩、保持手卫生、保持社交距离等。但这些措施落实，需要强有力的协调，以及老百姓的配合和支持。在其他国家或地区，很难通过这些措施的综合协调应用，在全国范围内实现“清零”，或保持“动态清零”。
The approach does not apply to some foreign countries that have resorted to coexistence with the novel coronavirus because successfully implementing it requires strong coordination between different departments and public support, which cannot be achieved and sustained in those nations.
“躺平”实际上是其他国家一种无奈的选择。在经过多种尝试努力后，仍然找不到一种理想的控制新冠的策略，疫情依然严重流行，很多国家干脆就选择“躺平”，即除强调疫苗接种外，不再强调其他防控措施。有些国家躺平后，发病人数和死亡人数大幅度上升。
Wu said that the so-called "lying flat" strategy — meaning lifting all anti-virus measures after widespread booster vaccination — is being pursued overseas because some countries had no choice.
"As a result, some nations have to grapple with steep increases in new infections and deaths, and have even had to reimpose some of their previous policies afterwards," he said.
吴尊友表示，我们国家的抗疫实践已经证明，“动态清零”是符合我国实际的，也是我国当前抗击新冠肺炎疫情的最佳选择（The dynamic zero COVID-19 policy suits China and is the best option for the country）。
"In China, we have enforced the strategy successfully so as to safeguard the life and health of the people," he said during a news briefing.
无症状能否居家隔离？
吴尊友表示，有一部分无症状感染者是确诊病例的潜伏期，如果不能及时发现及时治疗，是存在风险的，可能造成疫情继续传播扩散，或个人可能错过最佳治疗期；集中隔离观察的感染者不会出现交叉传播造成扩散，无症状和轻症隔离期间可以接受治疗。
"Centralized quarantine can rule out the risks of cross-transmission and spread. People there can receive treatment with traditional Chinese medicine to prevent the infection from evolving into severe or critical diseases. Those with a severe infection can be detected and transferred in a timely manner," Wu Zunyou said.
因此要尽可能将轻症和无症状感染者转到集中隔离点。
据发布会消息，上海市连续8天报告新增感染者数超过1万例，疫情处于快速上升期，社区传播尚没有得到有效遏制，且外溢多省多市，预计未来几日新增感染者人数仍将处于高位。
截至目前，国家卫生健康委已从全国16个省份调派医务人员4万余名以及每日238万管核酸检测能力支援上海，和上海的医务人员一起开展新冠肺炎医疗救治和核酸检测等工作。
躺平不能躺赢，关键时期我们更要迎难而上不动摇！
