7月27日凌晨，江西省国有资本运营控股集团有限公司（简称江西国控集团）通报了对周劼朋友圈言论核查情况，宣布其已停职、配合调查。
An employee at a State-owned company in eastern China is suspended and under investigation for claiming to possess great wealth and connections with senior government officials on social media, prompting public speculation about corruption.
State-owned Capital Operation Holding Group in Jiangxi province is conducting a probe into the employee named Zhou Jie after he boasted in social media posts about his wealth.
江西国控在通报中提到：一、周劼于2020年3月入职我司，现为我司股权管理部普通员工；二、网上转载内容为周劼于2019年9月至2020年6月在其本人微信朋友圈上发布，后被他人截图转发；三、当前，我司正在对周劼作进一步核查，依法依规进行处理。有关情况将及时公布。
The company said in its statement that Zhou joined the company in March 2020 and the online posts were made between September 2019 and June 2020 and then circulated by others.
It vowed to disclose further details to the public and “handle it according to the law and regulations” once the investigation is complete.
通报称，经核实，周劼出于个人炫耀，不存在某省领导给他递香烟的事情。周劼经常到绿湖豪城某茶叶店喝茶，据店主介绍，该店自营业以来价格最高的茶叶不超过6800元/斤，所发“20万元一斤的茶叶”言论也是其虚荣心所致。
“炫富”朋友圈截图引争议
近日，一组涉及“炫富”“秀后台”的朋友圈截图在网上引起热议。截图中显示，该账号所有人为周劼，自称是江西省国有资本运营控股集团有限公司的员工。
Zhou, who is from Nanchang in Jiangxi province, attracted national attention over the weekend when a series of screenshots of his WeChat Moments showing off his claimed wealth and power were widely circulated.
多张网传朋友圈截图中内容显示，周劼称自己父母是处级干部，最近父亲升任某单位副局长、经常参与多位干部的饭局，也曾参与接待会见省内一些上市公司、国有企业的重要领导。
Hinting that his father had received a senior position in the provincial government, Zhou bragged about frequently socializing with high-level officials and wealthy businesspeople, claiming he was once given a cigarette by a deputy provincial governor worth 1,200 yuan (US$180) a carton.
具体言论有，“父亲的副局长没问题了”、“感谢家族的所有人（三伯、大伯）”、“和单位的一把手吃饭”、“我办公室主任怕我吹空调冷，帮我加挡风板”“第一次进省长楼”等。
He also claimed in one post that one of his superiors arranged for a worker to install an air shield above his desk as: “he was afraid that the air-conditioning was too cold for me”.

除上述“秀圈子、炫人脉”内容之外，“周劼”的朋友圈还有不少与品牌、金钱相关的炫富表达。
比如，他声称自己喝的茶是“20万一斤的——2002年的白毫银针”；因戴欧米伽与苹果去省政府开会，被办公室处长点名开玩笑说要朴素一点，打算“换个华为跟跟风”；喜欢的衣服品牌是鳄鱼、皮带品牌是路易威登。
He once claimed he drank tea that cost 400,000 yuan (US$60,000) per kilogram.
In addition to claiming he received extremely expensive cigarettes and tea, Zhou also boasted about wearing luxury brands including an Omega watch that prompted an official to advise him to “keep it simple”.
7月26日，人民网发布《人民热评：对炫权又炫富的“周劼们”一查到底》的评论文章。
其中称，“不管最终调查结果如何，周劼的‘凡尔赛’都制造了社会矛盾，让很多人产生不公平感和被剥夺感。周劼都必须为自己的言行负责并承担相应责任。”“只有一查到底，才能依法维护社会公平正义。”
