Former US president Donald Trump appeared in a rally in Youngstown of Ohio on September 17, in support of J.D. Vance for the upcoming midterm elections. While Trump delivered a two-hour speech, scores of people in the crowd raised fingers in the air. After the rally, hashtag "Heil Trump" went viral on Twitter.

Nazi Salute, a gesture that was used as a greeting in Nazi Germany, is performed by extending the right arm from the shoulder into the air with a straightened hand. The person who offers the salute would say "Heil Hitler!"
According to the New York Times, people who raised their arms and fingers into the air during the rally performed the gesture after a song was played. The song is reported “all but identical” to “Wwg1wga”, the theme song of an organization called “QAnon”.
匿名者Q是一种极右翼阴谋论，其认为美国政府内部存在一个反对特朗普和其支持者的“深层政府”。这个理论的支持者在2018年首次出现在公众视野，他们信奉特朗普是来拯救世界的，而他的对手是一群恋童癖。
QAnon stands for a far-right conspiracy theory which believes there is a "deep state" within the US government acting against Trump. Followers to this theory first emerged in 2018. They believe Trump will save the world from his rivals in Washington many of whom QAnon alleges are pedophiles.

However, Trump's aides said the song is a royalty-free song called Mirrors. They said "fake news, in a pathetic attempt to create controversy and divide America, is brewing up another conspiracy about a royalty-free song from a popular audio library platform."
但上周，特朗普在自己的社交平台Truth Social上转推了一张他的图片。图片中他的衣服上挂有Q字样的胸针，底下一行字写着“风暴即将来临”。匿名者Q的追随者相信特朗普将重拾政权，并“逮捕甚至可能处决”他的对手们。
