旅美大熊猫全家启程回国！随身行李：100公斤竹子、水果

据美国华盛顿国家动物园介绍，大熊猫“添添”“美香”和它们的幼崽“小奇迹”当地时间8日下午从华盛顿乘飞机回国。

Giant pandas Mei Xiang, Tian Tian and their male cub Xiao Qi Ji departed the Smithsonian's National Zoo in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday, wrapping up their stay in the United States and embarking on a journey back to China.

园方介绍，飞机从华盛顿起飞，后在阿拉斯加加油，之后飞抵四川，飞行时间约19小时。

As part of the effort to ensure a comfortable flight for the three pandas, two keepers and a veterinarian will accompany the bears on board the plane, which is heading for the southwestern Chinese city of Chengdu. The duration of the flight is expected to be about 19 hours, including a refueling stop in Anchorage, Alaska.

据了解，2名饲养员和一名兽医将随行。三只大熊猫目前都很健康。它们的“随身行李”是100公斤竹子、水果等。

The zoo staff loaded supplies including 100 kg of bamboo on the trucks for the pandas to consume during their flight to China.

此前，美国华盛顿国家动物园当地时间9月30日为三只旅美大熊猫举办了多场“告别派对”熊猫主题活动，吸引众多美国游客参加。

“美香”和“添添”2000年12月从中国前往美国华盛顿国家动物园，“小奇迹”2020年8月出生。“小奇迹”的诞生被认为是“大自然生命延续的奇迹”，因为妈妈“美香”诞下它时，已是22岁高龄。
