Manzhouli is China's largest land port, a crucial node of the Belt and Road Initiative, and one of the gateways for the "Eastern Route" of China-Europe freight train. Goods from thirteen European countries converge at this port.

Looking down from the control room, rows of containers create a dazzling sight. Among the over 2,000 colorful containers, locating the designated one might seem like a game of chance to an outsider. However, for the crane operators, it's a routine skill.
In the first half of 2023, a total of 2,338 China - Europe freight trains passed through Manzhouli Station, carrying 252,000 containers. With the continuous increase in the volume of transportation, Mr Yang and his team are tasked with changing over 8 trains and more than 500 containers each day.
A freight train travelling between Germany to China passes four borders and two different rails during the trip. Items such as car parts and tubes are shipped to China along this steel corridor.
The width of the railways could be different but the willingness of connectivity between people is no difference.
