Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications confirmed on Wednesday that the acclaimed professor is Mr Li Lei, who, in the video, was teaching his course "Poetry Composition and Appreciation" by applying mathematical principles to elucidate the intricate structure of poetry.

He asserts that this four-stage process applies to various areas, including the human nervous system and artificial neural network construction in AI.
He believes that the "turn" is the most crucial. In artificial neural networks, the "turn" is often achieved through functions like Gaussian and S-functions. In poetry, the "turn" is typically expressed through techniques such as negation, questioning, or emphasis.
