据新华社报道，记者从广西壮族自治区林业科学研究院获悉，广西林科院科研团队在广西全州县发现一植物新物种——全州樱花，近日发表在国际植物分类学期刊《Phytotaxa》。

A study authored by a team of experts from the Guangxi Forestry Research Institute has led to the discovery of a new species of cherry blossom in a wetland park in Quanzhou county, South China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region.

The new species of Rosaceae has been named Prunus quanzhouensis. The study has been published in the journal Phytotaxa.

该樱花新物种被发现于广西全州天湖国家湿地公园，是广西目前唯一的李属特有种。
