雷军表示，过去15年的创业让他深刻地体会到，无论是传统产业的转型升级，还是培育壮大新兴产业，都离不开科技创新，5年前小米就下决心加大科技创新的力度，进一步投资核心技术。
Lei Jun, CEO and chairman of Xiaomi Corp, said at the sidelines of the ongoing two sessions on Wednesday that "Over the past 15 years, Xiaomi has deeply understood that technological innovation is the cornerstone of progress."
“当时我们就规划了5年要投1000亿，现在5年过去了，我们大约投了1050亿元。同时，我们产品的销量也表明，全球用户越来越认可中国科技创新的价值。”
"Five years ago, we committed to investing heavily in core technologies, setting a goal to spend 100 billion yuan ($13.8 billion) on research and development. Today, we have exceeded that target, investing about 105 billion yuan."
“代表通道”上，雷军提到去年发布的小米SU7汽车一亮相就受到了广大用户的好评，“小米作为汽车产业的新人，在去年短短9个月时间里面就销售交付超过了13.5万辆，这些成绩的背后都离不开科技创新。”
雷军称，小米将继续坚持走科技创新的道路，走高端化发展道路，加大培育新质生产力，把最新的人工智能技术应用到各个终端上，让广大的消费者能够享受科技带来的美好生活，为中国式现代化的发展贡献自己的力量。
Lei also expressed gratitude to Beijing, calling it a "fertile ground" for Xiaomi's growth. He reaffirmed Xiaomi's commitment to innovation and high-end development, stating, "Manufacturing is the foundation of China's strength. As both a builder and beneficiary of this sector, Xiaomi will continue to innovate, integrate cutting-edge AI technologies into our products, and contribute to China's path to modernization while enhancing consumers' lives through technology."
周云杰：人工智能是中国企业的时代机会
Zhou Yunjie, who is a deputy to the 14th National People's Congress, China's top legislature, said Haier is committed to building its own brand through globalization and has been the world's largest household appliance maker for 16 consecutive years.
Zhou added Haier mainly focuses on three business segments, namely smart home, industrial internet, and healthcare, and it will make greater efforts to boost the deeper integration of sci-tech innovation and industrial innovation.
