A man has been detained for dragging a 6-year-old girl into a residential alley while intoxicated, according to a police bulletin issued on Tuesday by the Loudi municipal public security bureau's Louxing branch in Hunan province.
The bulletin detailed that on the afternoon of May 20, Liu, a 38-year-old man, dragged the child near Lianbin Middle Street in Louxing district, Loudi city. Residents promptly intervened to stop him and reported the incident. Police officers swiftly arrived at the scene and brought Liu under control.
Following the investigation, Liu is suspected of picking quarrels and provoking trouble. He has been detained and will face criminal liability according to the law.
