6月29日，“@朱雀玄武敕令本人”在社交媒体上发文，称自己请求改回曾用名“朱雀玄武”的申请暂未通过审批。
A 24-year-old man from Guiyang county of Hunan province, currently named Zhuquexuanwu Chiling, has once again found himself at the center of public attention after local police denied his latest request to legally change his name — his 11th such application in just over a year.
此前其表示，自己高考报名和高考准考证上的名字是“朱雀玄武”，后改名为“周景明”。现在担心前后名字不一样会导致大学录取通知书无法签收，所以申请将名字改回“朱雀玄武”。但近日收到了桂阳县公安局的回复，暂不予审批本次更名申请。
The man, whose birth name was Zhu Yunfei, has become somewhat of an internet sensation for his string of unusual and often elaborate name-change attempts. Most recently, he sought to revert back to a previous alias, Zhuque Xuanwu, citing concerns that the discrepancy between his current name and the name on his college entrance exam documents could affect the delivery of his university admission letter.
6月19日，“朱雀玄武敕令”称已成功改名为周景明，并拿到了身份证。
桂阳县公安局回复称：“反映人周景明（曾用名：朱云飞、朱雀玄武、朱雀玄武敕令），自2024年5月起先后多次申请更名，我局已先后为其改名三次。周景明2025年6月24日提出的更名申请已是其本人近13个月以来提交的第11次更名申请。
根据《民法典》相关规定，申请人周景明频繁申请更名的行为已属扰乱公共秩序、浪费行政资源。经对接省、市教育考试院，只要参考人身份证号码没变更就不影响考生大学录取通知书签收和入学报到注册。综合以上因素，我局暂不予审批周景明本次更名申请。”
However, the Guiyang Public Security Bureau rejected the request, stating that his frequent applications were disrupting public order and wasting administrative resources.
据此前报道，今年4月底，这位24岁的小伙因为申请改名为“周天紫薇大帝”而受到社会关注。这位小伙出生时的名字为朱云飞，从2024年5月开始，已经先后改名为“朱雀玄武”“朱雀玄武敕令”。4月16日，“朱雀玄武敕令”登录湖南政务服务网申请改名为“周天紫薇大帝”，申请未予以通过。4月26日，他又提交申请改名为“朱咸宁”。
The man first made national headlines in April when he applied to change his name to Zhoutian Ziweidadi, or Emperor Ziwei of Zhoutian in Taoism. That request was also denied. His history of name changes includes legally registering as Zhuque Xuanwu and later Zhuquexuanwu Chiling, both referencing mythological creatures from Chinese folklore.
6月24日，“朱雀玄武敕令”发文公布第三次参加高考的分数：“我的总分是246分，分别是语文74分，数学20分，外语29分，政治56分，历史24分，地理43分。虽然这次高考分数跟我预想的三百多分有一定差距，但是本人内心还是很平静。反正我是有书读了。”
