A Chinese tour group traveling in Italy was reportedly robbed near the Leaning Tower of Pisa. According to a video posted by one of the tourists on social media, their belongings were "completely cleaned out" during a brief lunch stop.
该旅行团成员称，事发于当地时间7月3日，旅行团在比萨斜塔附近吃午饭时，仅20至30分钟的时间，停在饭店门口的大巴车门被撬，车上的行李被盗走。
According to one of the travelers, the incident occurred on Thursday local time. While the group was having lunch near the Pisa landmark, their tour bus, parked just outside the restaurant, was broken into. Within 20 to 30 minutes, thieves had forced open the vehicle's door and stolen the luggage on board.

7月7日，该旅行团成员火山（化名）告诉记者，他所参加的旅行团共有30人，成员来自全国各地，每人团费两万多元，由辽宁沈阳的一家旅行社组织。其于6月25日从沈阳出发，经北京前往欧洲旅游，行程包括法国、瑞士、德国、意大利四个国家。
Huoshan (a pseudonym), a member of the tour group, told reporters that the tour consisted of 30 travelers from across China and was organized by a travel agency based in Shenyang, Liaoning province.
“先在巴黎玩了两天，接下来又去了瑞士、德国，7月1日晚上到了意大利，2日在威尼斯玩了一天。”其称，刚到欧洲时，导游曾提醒过当地小偷比较多，贵重物品一定要保管好，但由于意大利的行程已接近旅行尾声，当时大家都放松了警惕。
据其回忆，7月3日上午，旅行团在意大利比萨斜塔游玩后，导游带他们去附近吃午饭，旅行团的大巴就停在饭店门口。“吃饭的时间大概是20到30分钟，之后我们回来全都傻眼了，一看车门被撬了，上车一看，我们的东西都被‘洗劫一空’。”其称，除了个别游客的东西没丢，“其他人的东西，基本上全部被拿走”。
火山说，因为旅行团基本是每天住在不同的城市，所以游客的行李都在这辆大巴上，丢失的贵重物品包括相机、手机和旅行团成员此行购买的奢侈品等，“估计全部损失有几十万元人民币”。“我所有的东西全在一个包里，包直接被拿走了，现金丢了差不多几百欧元，包里还有身份证、银行卡等重要证件，都要回国重办。”
Because the group changed hotels almost daily, most of their valuables were kept on the bus. The stolen items included cameras, mobile phones, and luxury goods recently purchased during the trip. Huoshan estimated that the total loss amounted to hundreds of thousands of yuan.
“事发当天，导游就报警了，当地警察给我们录了口供，后来我们没有留在当地，事情也就不了了之。大家都没有想到，发达国家的治安原来这么不靠谱，感觉效率太慢了。”其表示，旅行团成员的护照全部都在导游的行李箱里，幸亏导游的行李箱没丢。最终，旅行团的行程仍按原定计划进行，于7月5日回国。
According to Huoshan, the local police were contacted immediately after the theft, and officers took statements from the group. "We were surprised at how unreliable public safety is in what we thought was a developed country," Huoshan said. "The police response felt very slow and inefficient."
Fortunately, all the group's passports were stored in the tour guide's suitcase, which was not stolen. The group returned to China on Saturday as planned.
火山表示，针对后续的赔偿问题，旅行社还未给出明确的方案，“旅行社说先走保险流程”。
同日，中国驻佛罗伦萨总领事馆工作人员告诉记者，涉事旅行社已跟该馆取得联系，游客可将诉求统一反馈给旅行社，后续总领事馆将根据旅行社反馈的案件信息，提供相关的协助。该工作人员还表示，若涉及到刑事案件，则需要当地律师协助，总领事馆将推荐当地律师名单，并适时催促当地警方尽快反馈结果。
The Chinese consulate-general in Florence confirmed that the affected travel agency had been in contact. Tourists should relay their concerns through the agency, and the consulate will offer assistance based on the details received.
7月7日下午，红星新闻记者联系中国驻意大利使馆领事保护与协助电话了解相关情况，工作人员表示，经了解，意大利警方已为旅行团游客开具了报失单，后续游客可凭借报失单进行保险理赔。
