8月12日，新京报记者从海口政法部门获悉，演员兼导演郑某峰因涉嫌猥亵儿童，早前已被检察院批捕，目前正等待起诉。郑某峰曾在电影《美人鱼》扮演“郑总”一角。
An actor and director surnamed Zheng was formally arrested on Tuesday by the procuratorate on suspicion of child molestation and is now awaiting prosecution. Zheng is known for playing the role of "Mr Zheng" in the film Mermaid.

Zheng, 58, was placed under criminal detention on Jan 18 for alleged child molestation. Investigations revealed that during a film casting in Haikou, Hainan province, the suspect allegedly molested underage female participants under the pretext of guiding dance movements. Police, after receiving the report, swiftly launched an investigation. Zheng was apprehended on Jan 17.
