Hong Kong actress Cecilia Yip shared in a People's Daily article, published on Thursday, reflections on her time in the spotlight.

Having portrayed diverse roles throughout her career, Yip stated that playing "Zhao Huanxin" in the film Love Never Ends deepened her appreciation for life's value. This inspired her to join the reality show Sisters Who Make Waves 6 to explore new possibilities.
As the oldest participant on the show, celebrating women of all ages and backgrounds, Yip described it as "a platform for self-growth and breakthroughs". Filming commenced on Lingshui's golden beaches in Hainan, progressing through Yunnan, Hebei, Xinjiang, and culminating in Inner Mongolia's Hulunbuir. "Journeying across our magnificent homeland became my greatest reward beyond the competition," she wrote.
In Yunnan's Stone Forest, the cast marveled at nature's sculpted rock formations while performing the song Great Mountains amidst the landscape. At Fuxian Lake, shimmering waters transformed their anxiety into excitement.
Yip highlighted Xiong'an's rising towers in Hebei as symbols of hope – where her team claimed first place through collective effort. Dancing before the Kunlun Mountains' snow-capped peaks in Xinjiang, she felt "like a snowflake glowing on the majestic range." Their final performance on Hulunbuir's boundless grasslands earned her team the show's top award.
Over 100 days, the journey fostered mutual growth and enduring friendships. Yip concluded: "May everyone ride the wind to surpass themselves, may our nation prosper, and may Hong Kong – my birthplace celebrating its 28th return anniversary – forge ever forward."
