Chinese tea brand Modern China Tea Shop has landed in hot water after multiple bloggers accused it of plagiarizing their designs in its latest co-branded notebook with the Shanghai Rainbow Chamber Singers.

The notebook, launched on Friday and priced at 25.9 yuan for non-members, sold out rapidly online, with some resellers offering it at inflated prices on secondary platforms.
然而仅一天后，8月23日晚间，小红书用户“废画三千”发文称“我被茶颜悦色抄袭了”，明确指出涉事手账本中三处设计与其作品有相似之处，并附上对比图片。
However, by Saturday, artists on RedNote began calling out striking similarities between the notebook's designs and their original works. One blogger shared side-by-side comparisons highlighting three allegedly copied elements.
Two other bloggers, also claimed their collage and scrapbooking materials were used without permission.

8月24日下午16点，@茶颜悦色 官方小红书发布道歉声明称，这份“好内容”是建立在伤害别人版权的基础上时，确实无地自容。
The product was quickly pulled from Modern China Tea Shop's official platform. On Sunday, the company issued a public apology on RedNote, admitting the design was "built upon infringing on others' copyrights" and expressing regret.
