近日，多位博主发布视频调侃铁盒的清凉油是“最犟种产品”，引发关注。
Several Chinese bloggers have gone viral for joking about how difficult it is to open the iconic metal tin of Qingliangyou, a traditional cooling balm known for its refreshing scent and soothing effect. In English, Qingliangyou is known as tiger balm.
In one viral video, a driver quipped, "I tried to use Qingliangyou to stay awake, but after 300 kilometers and broken nails, the lid was still stuck — though at least I wasn't sleepy anymore."

还有网友称，从记事起清凉油就是这个铁盒包装，多年过去，盖子依然难打开，“任性又死不悔改的设计”。
Many netizens have said they've used the same tin since childhood, calling it "nostalgic, stubborn, and proudly unchanged".
A Shanghai manufacturer confirmed it has received similar feedback, noting that many customers are fond of the classic design and may resist major changes. The 3-gram tin remains a "heritage" version, while the 10-gram tin is larger and easier to open.
In Luoyang, Henan province, another producer advised users to "twist the lid in circles" and said it is working on improvements after complaints about the tight seal.
Despite this, many commenters defended the design, saying, "Don't change it. That's its charm."
据了解，从成分上来看，清凉油主要含樟脑、樟脑油、薄荷脑等成分；风油精除薄荷脑、樟脑外，还含有水杨酸甲酯。
从功效上来看，清凉油侧重缓解头晕、头痛、鼻塞和中暑等症状；风油精因含有水杨酸甲酯（解热镇痛抗炎药成分），更适用于蚊虫叮咬后的局部皮肤炎症反应和镇痛。
Medically, Qingliangyou contains camphor and menthol to relieve dizziness, headaches, and mild heatstroke, while Fengyoujing adds methyl salicylate, making it better for insect bites and local inflammation.
不过，清凉油并不适合所有人，以下人群需谨慎使用：
① 日常容易出现皮肤过敏的人群
在使用含有植物精油的成分制剂时，不管是风油精还是清凉油，亦或是其他的一些软膏，都可能会出现烧灼、疼痛等过敏反应。
② 有皮肤破溃的人群
例如烧伤、烫伤、溃疡等皮肤破溃的人群，理论上讲是不建议使用风油精和清凉油的。
③ 儿童、孕妇、哺乳期宝妈
不同的药品说明书，要求不一样。清凉油主要是在医生指导下使用；风油精由于含有水杨酸甲酯的成分，所以三岁以下的儿童要慎用。
Qingliangyou is not suitable for everyone. People with sensitive skin, open wounds, or those who are pregnant or breastfeeding should use it with care, and Fengyoujing is not recommended for children under three.
