Japanese beverage maker Asahi Group Holdings says over 1.9 million pieces of personal information may have been leaked in a recent cyberattack. The breach in September forced a widespread suspension of company operations.
Asahi disclosed the findings of an internal probe at a news conference on Thursday, its first since the attack.
The firm says the data could have included the home addresses, phone numbers and e-mail addresses of workers and customers. Asahi has reported its findings to the government's commission on personal information protection.
