马来西亚交通部3日发布公告说，马来西亚航空公司370航班客机残骸搜寻工作将于本月30日重新启动。
The search for Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 will resume on Dec 30, Malaysia's Transport Ministry said on Wednesday.
公告说，负责搜寻行动的水下探测公司“海洋无限”将以间歇方式重启为期55天的海底搜寻行动。
今年3月，马来西亚内阁正式批准马政府与“海洋无限”签署服务协议，授权后者在印度洋南部开展搜寻马航370航班客机残骸的工作。4月初，马交通部长陆兆福说搜寻工作因天气原因暂停。
Exploration firm Ocean Infinity will recommence seabed search operations intermittently for a total of 55 days, the ministry said in a statement.
"The search will be carried out in (the) targeted area assessed to have the highest probability of locating the aircraft, in accordance with the service agreement entered between the government of Malaysia and Ocean Infinity on March 25, 2025," it said, adding that the Malaysian government remains committed to providing closure to the families affected.
