What does the future hold for global supply chains?

Last week, our International Business Manager Qian Zhang took part in the panel discussion ‘New Logistics between Duisburg and China’ at the Business Cooperation Dialogue NRW–China 2025 in Duisburg, Germany – and provided exciting insights into the logistics of tomorrow between the two regions.

The event focused on the key question: How can companies from China and North Rhine-Westphalia work together to contribute to greater sustainability along supply chains? And the city of Duisburg, as part of the New Silk Road, demonstrated how digitalisation, automation and intelligent traffic control can make supply chains not only faster, but also more sustainable.

In addition, the topic of circular economy played a major role: innovative recycling projects, new value chains and international partnerships provided vivid examples of how transformation can also become a reality in traditional industrial regions.
