Introduction to the event
This event is designed to equip entrepreneurs and businesses in Shenzhen with practical strategies for entering and succeeding in the Latin American market, and of course, for Latin American businesses to explore Shenzhen. Through real-world insights into cultural, marketing, and distribution challenges, participants will gain clear and actionable guidance. Beyond learning, the session aims to cultivate a community of professionals committed to building stronger bridges between China and Latin America.
Camila Andrea Algecira Melo
Co-Founder & Director of Technology Projects — Lulule Creative Group
Camila is an International Business professional from Universidad Santo Tomás (Colombia) and holds a Master’s in Business and Economics from the Central University of Finance and Economics in Beijing (CUFE), where she studied under a full scholarship from the Chinese Government. With over ten years of experience, she has built her career around connecting Asia and Latin America through internationalization, innovation, and strategic marketing.
She has worked with companies entering Latin American and Asian markets, starting at the Colombia-India Chamber of Commerce and later as Project Director at Asia Business Consulting. During her time in Beijing, she actively joined the local innovation ecosystem through Startup Grind Beijing, Camino a China Magazine, and EqualOcean.
She later joined Kuaishou to support the launch of Kwai in Latin America and subsequently became Marketing Director for Latin America at EcoFlow, where she helped position the company as the top portable power station brand in the region.
Today, as co-founder of Lulule Creative Group in China, she leads technology, marketing, and innovation projects that connect companies, universities, and institutions from Latin America and Spain with Asia’s fast-growing innovation landscape.
Operations Director, Belia Trading (Yanbal Group)
Food Engineer from the National Agrarian University La Molina, with a specialization in Quality Management through the DAAD and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Qualität program in
Germany. She also holds an MBA from CENTRUM Graduate Business School at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru.
She has extensive experience in international business, operations control, and quality assurance across multiple industries. She worked in the industrial textile and fishing sectors for the Italian group Badinotti, which operates in over five countries across North America, South America, and Europe. During her tenure, she led the Quality Department of Badinotti Peru, a company dedicated to the design and production of fishing nets, threads, and industrial floats distributed globally.
Since 2016, she has been part of Belia Trading, a company belonging to the Yanbal Group, a leading cosmetics and beauty company in Latin America. Belia Trading serves as the trading arm of Yanbal, created to supply rewards and incentives for the company’s salesforce across eight countries. From 2016 to 2019, she served as Corporate Quality Manager, overseeing operations in Peru, Colombia, Ecuador, and Bolivia, and leading quality processes for procurement and production with suppliers across Latin America and Asia.
In July 2019, Lizbeth took on the challenge of establishing Belia Trading’s first office in Shenzhen, China, as Operations Director, expanding oversight to China and other Asian countries. Together with her team in China, she manages around 65% of the group’s corporate purchasing, supplying products in more than 12 different categories to multiple countries in Latin America.
