Description:
This position supports the Strategy and Business Development Marketing Group (SBD) by providing support for analysis and forecasting within the Global Power Group. Responsible for providing: analysis of various data sources and producing market forecasts, competitor analysis, product presentations, promotional and advertising materials, in multiple formats such as web based, written, oral, and electronically. In addition, this person will support special company financial and operational studies and assist in the production of weekly, monthly and quarterly reports.
Duties:
Data Management
- Obtains, gathers, updates, and maintains competitor, economic, customer, power, project pipeline lists, and sales data needed to perform analysis. This includes working with the CRM database and our sales team to ensure accurate reporting of opportunities for Amec Foster Wheeler. Customer Surveys
– Responsible for managing surveys and maintaining files and data to produce summary level reports of results for management. Prepares Due Diligence Reports for sales agents
- Creates, produces, updates, and maintains database of agent agreements and all supporting documentation. Must understand and comply with corporate policies relating to the use of agents. Market Research and Analysis
- Provides market and competitor analysis for the purpose of supporting sales and marketing efforts and developing product, sales, and marketing strategies. Works with (once hired) outside market research companies to coordinate, evaluate and use their research to support internal market research efforts.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, math or sciences. Up to two years of experience in the power (or a related industry) working in marketing, strategy, sales or engineering groups.
