Associate
As a member of the client team, an Associate assists in researching and analyzing issues and in managing the day-to-day administration of the client relationship.
Primary Responsibilities:
News bureau activities, work with targeted media on story development
Proactively develop Through relationships with external audiences (media, third party constituncies, etc.) to convey the client’s message
Write and distribute basic materials, including news releases, backgrounders, fact sheets, bios, newsletters, prepared remarks, program elements, standby statements and pitch letters
Handle standard media inquiries
Research and monitor client’s business and industry to maintain a current knowledge base
Assist in the research and preparation of new business proposals
Coordinate production and distribution of materials with internal service departments to create print and video products
Organize and implement events and promotions for the client
Assist in client administration duties such as billing and activity reports
Represent client at events or trade shows
Skills Required:
Good oral and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to work as a member of a team
Ability to generate ideas and think creatively
Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to facilitate organization of project details
Business presentation skills

Other Recommended Qualifications:
BA or BS degree
A minimum of 3 years of work experience in professional services firm, journalism, public relations, communications or related field is preferred
General understanding of the techniques of a professional services/consultancy firm, journalism, public relations, communications or related field
Basic knowledge of media relations from key trade publications to national outlets
In-depth knowledge of specific industries (such as healthcare, technology, investor relations)
Title: Client Executive
The Client Executive supports the client team, working on task-oriented projects that require good organizational skills and the ability to juggle many projects simultaneously.
Primary Responsibilities:
With supervision, write and distribute pitch letters, news releases, backgrounders, fact sheets, bios, newsletters, prepared remarks, and standby statements.
Monitor media to report coverage that affects the Client’s business.
Handles basic research of Client’s business and industry to maintain a current knowledge base.
Develop relationships with external audiences (media, third party constituencies, etc.) to convey the Client’s message.
Under guidance of supervisor may coordinate specific events and promotions for the Client.
Assist with administrative tasks such as preparation and distribution of publications.
Handle routine media inquiries.
Assist in account administration duties such as billing and activity reports.
Skills Required:
Good oral and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to work as a member of a team.

Good English and Chinese written/speaking skills, good interpersonal skills and a team player
Logical thinker and passionate about the PR industry
Available for at least 3 days per week for a minimum of 3 to 6 months, (not including Sat & Sun)
Previous internship or part time working experience in PR agency or in-house is a plus
Positive attitude, results-oriented, attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously are also plusses!
