Bolong works as a product marketing manager at Amzon's Audible division. He is the business owner of the retention side of Audible products. He, along with a product manager, leads a team of analysts, designers, developers and other related parties to launch products/features, or marketing campaigns to improve customer retention and increase their lifetime value. Prior to Amazon, he worked at Apple Inc as a markting manager, and one of Goldman Sach's joint venture as a quantitative analyst. Bolong owns a Master's Degree in Financial Engineering from NYU.

积跬步，至千里

有时候会想，我到底是靠什么进到Amazon做marketing manager的？核心原因可能是我有在Apple非常相关的工作经验。那我又怎么进到Apple的呢？大概是因为利用到了NYU的校内求职平台和之前在Goldman Sachs Joint Venture 得到的大公司工作的光环效应。为什么我可以进到NYU还有拿到GS的这个工作呢？本科在渣打银行半年的实习经历给了我不少加分。一个HR曾经明确说之所以给我面试就是看到了这一条经历非常相关，所以给我一个机会。那这份实习是哪里来的呢？和室友一起吃饭认识了在渣打HR工作的学姐。饭桌上随意聊起来可以帮忙看看有没有机会。

如果我可以看到之后的这一切，我一定不会当晚躺在床上犹豫要不要爬起来发一封follow up邮件给那位学姐；也不会怀疑这也许只是饭桌上的客套话；更不会有过两天再说的想法。但就像Steve Jobs说的，你只有回头看，才能把所有的点连接在一起。面向未来，我们能做的，就是在你疲惫，怀疑，困惑的时候，无理由的相信自己，争取每一个可以拿到的机会。积跬步，才能至千里。有时，答案就是这么简单。
