Excellent decision-making skills and a highly resourceful problem solver.
Self-directed with a high level of initiative and ingenuity.
Strong time management skills and experience working on multiple projects simultaneously.
A solid creative portfolio or collection of work examples demonstrating strong competency in UX / Graphic Design.

Conduct studies around how users experience our current and future product offerings.
Identify target audience for interviews and manage recruitment.
Manage an ongoing research panel for on-demand research purposes.
Identify and prioritize user needs and/or UX issues based on behavioral insights and level of severity.
Administrative work as necessary.

Academic Year Interns join and support our team through the fall and spring semesters. Each intern is managed by one person, but supports their department with various initiatives that enable us to bolster DoSomething’s mission.
The internship runs in two parts: September 2 - December 20, 2019 and January 20-May 8, 2020 (32 weeks total).
This internship requires 15 hours/week and is paid $15/hour.
Interns must report to our NYC office; remote internships are unavailable.
