Start Date: August 26, 2019
Our Fall internship program has some flexibility in regards to school schedules; interns are expected to be here for the full of week of onboarding, August 26, 2019 - August 30, 2019. For students seeking a part-time schedule, the work schedule is set for full days on MWF.
This intern will collaborate with Researchers across our team, and their findings will help inform product development, marketing strategy, and general understanding of Mailchimp’s users and competitors.

Strong writing and communication skills are a must

Bonus points for experience in any of the following:
Drafting, creating, sending, and analyzing surveys
Recruiting interview participants
Conducting interviews
Working with data in Excel and Google Sheets
Running usability tests

职位描述
Collaborate with fellow UX/UI designers as they incorporate motion into their work to enhance interactivity and delight users
Define and execute the animation plan for projects
Demonstrate best practices for production considerations and methods
Produce quality designs that accurately reflect a visual design language or brand guidelines
Demonstrate a keen understanding of typography, color, grid, and composition
Additional duties as requested
职位要求
Currently pursuing or graduated within 1 year with a BA/BS degree in Design (e.g. interaction graphic, visual communications, product, industrial, animation), HCI, CS, or related field or equivalent practical experience
A design portfolio that demonstrates design and animation skills
Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects
Understanding of basic principles of animation
**Able to start ASAP and work in our Downtown Los Angeles office**
