It’s a major landmark in the park’s building of international business environment. The IASP is the only worldwide membership-based association of S&T parks and innovation areas. It now has over 300 members from 75 countries and regions. The participance of Tus-Caohejing Park will help form a network which unites industry-leading science and technology parks and areas of innovation worldwide, introduce global innovation resources, and construct the innovation highland with global influence in the G60 S&T Innovation Valley of Yangtze River Delta.

Through IASP, Tus-Caohejing Science Park can directly communicate to nearly 120,000 innovation enterprises within the global science parks network. Tus-Caohejing will organize a variety of events including business meetings, technology sharing and study trips to help the regional enterprises reach the foreign R&D teams and markets. The park will also introduce foreign enterprises, especially those micro, small and medium-sized enterprises with cutting-edge technology. Besides, the park will optimize the cooperation with universities including Tsinghua University, East China University of Science and Technology, Donghua University to stimulate more cross-border knowledge transformation and to attract more talents. And more importantly, since the third phase of the park will be put into use by 2020, the park will provide more space for innovation enterprises with professional services and sound supporting facilities.

In the past two years, the park takes efforts to build a sound business climate for foreign enterprises. A team of foreign academicians has been introduced, including Graham Cooks, winner of the China International Science and Technology Cooperation Award 2019. The Glossa-Tus Tech Co-Innovation Hub has been established in the park to enhance the communication of technology and markets between China and Europe. Together with Honeywell and Comau, the park provides a series of courses for the members of Honeywell-Tus Smart Technology Accelerator. According to Wang Jiwu, the chairman of Tus-Holdings, the technology revolution in new era emphasizes more on technology integration and global collaboration. Together with IASP, the park will strengthen the links with other IASP members and promote regional technology innovation and global collaboration in industry upgrade. With the joint efforts of Tus-Caohejing Science Park and IASP, the G60 S&T Innovation Valley of Yangtze River Delta will witness the birth of a new pattern of cross-boundary technology transformation, which will become a driving force for the upgrade of regional industry.
