
8月16日,由广东省商务厅主办,广东省网商协会、2024中国(广州)跨境电商交易会组委会承办的“2024中国(广东)-RCEP成员国跨境电商交流会”在广州圆满举办。澳大利亚、韩国、柬埔寨、老挝、马来西亚、菲律宾、泰国、越南等RCEP成员国驻穗领馆代表与广东省21个地市商务部门同志,以及国内外跨境电商企业近500人参加了交流会。
On August 16, the "2024 China (Guangdong) -RCEP Member Cross-border E-commerce Cooperation Conference" was successfully held in Guangzhou. Representatives from the consulates of RCEP member countries, including Australia, Korea, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam, joined nearly 500 domestic and international cross-border e-commerce enterprises and colleagues from the business departments in Guangdong Province for the cooperation conference.

广东省商务厅厅长张劲松在致辞中指出,广东要在扩大开放、改革创新、基础设施建设等方面进一步扩大开放,打造优良营商环境,完善跨境电商基础设施,为国内外电商企业创业发展、拓展市场创造更好条件。
张劲松厅长热情推介了本届交流会发布的《跨境电商(出海)RCEP国别指引》。他表示,广东将提供更加优质的服务,诚挚欢迎更多国内外优质跨境电商平台和各类企业落户广东、扎根广东。
Zhang Jinsong, Director of the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province, pointed out in his speech that Guangdong should further open up in terms of expanding opening-up, reform and innovation, and infrastructure construction, create a good business environment, improve cross-border e-commerce infrastructure, and create better conditions for domestic and foreign e-commerce enterprises to develop and expand the market.
He warmly introduced the "Cross-border E-commerce Guidelines for RCEP Member Countries" at the conference. He said that Guangdong will provide better services and sincerely welcome more high-quality cross-border e-commerce platforms and enterprises at home and abroad to settle in Guangdong and take root in Guangdong.

Xie Weiguang, Deputy Secretary-General of the People’s Government of Guangzhou Municipality, pointed out that the cross-trade Fair has now become the Cross-borde E-commerce Fair with the largest number of domestic exhibition platforms, the most concentrated head platform and the largest exhibition dividend. Guangzhou will anchor its pursuit of being a leader, a pioneer, and a driving force, welcoming everyone to invest in Guangzhou and increase their commitment.

RCEP生效以来,各成员国贸易逐年上升,2024年上半年,广东对RCEP其他成员国进出口1.24万亿元,增长12.5%。马来西亚驻穗总领事馆苏拉雅总领事和澳大利亚驻穗总领事馆李劳伦商务领事分享了RCEP生效后为本国商贸带来的变化。
Since the RCEP Agreement came into effect, the trade volumn of member countries has increased year by year, and in the first half of 2024, Guangdong's import and export to other RCEP member countries reached 1.24 trillion yuan, an increase of 12.5%. Consul General of Malaysia Madam Surayah and Commercial Consul of Australia Lauren Lee shared the changes brought about by the entry into force of RCEP.

The conference issued the "Cross-border E-commerce Guidelines for RCEP Member Countries" compiled by the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province and the Guangdong e-Business Association. Fiona Liu,Executive Chairman & Secretary of Guangdong e-Business Association, interpreted the Guidelines, which outline the characteristics of the RCEP member countries' e-commerce market in a comprehensive manner from the perspectives of e-commerce development, social media, popular categories in various countries, logistics networks, payment systems, and trade policy concerns. It provides enterprises with a key to open the door to the RCEP market, and help enterprises to achieve the leapfrog development of internationalization strategy with accurate positioning and efficient layout.

The 2024 China (Guangzhou) Cross-border E-commerce Fair sets up the first emerging market platform zone, in addition to the traditional European and American markets, Africa, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, South America, Central and Eastern Europe, East Asia, West Asia, Australia, Russia and other emerging markets are becoming a new world of cross-border e-commerce, providing new development opportunities for Chinese manufacturing.
