Jack Yang has over a decade´s experience as senior investment manager and led the first Chinese investments into the Danish robotics sector. He joined Nordic Match in 2022 as a senior advisor.

Tell us a bit about your background, what brought you to Nordic Match?
I started my career in a reputable multinational company, with a positive attitude and all the trainings and mentorships received from different positions across variable industries thereafter, I literally become a business consultant willing to share Chinese business insights with colleagues, partners, and clients.
It was not too long after Nordic Match was established when I was introduced of the company for the first time. I have been noticing the company’s growth until the opportunity of joining it.
What do you find most rewarding about your experience as a member of Nordic Match?
Over the years, I have developed a series of skill sets to handle cross-border businesses. I find it to be rewarding that these knowhows could be valuable to the clients of Nordic Match when they are seeking business development in China. In addition, I find many of the key business culture of Nordic Match fit my definition of a good company to work for, i.e. honesty, professional, innovative, etc.
What is your definition of Nordic?
To me, Nordic is not only a territory on the world map, it is a symbol of value, lifestyle and attitude of living. In short, I think Nordic means fulfill the job with an aesthetic mind in exchange for quality.
What is your favorite place to visit in the Nordics?
Norway.
