Lecturer
Prof. Dr. SHEN Qi is Deputy Dean of the School of Foreign Languages at Tongji University; tenured professor; doctoral supervisor; and postdoctoral collaborator mentor. He is also Director of the Tongji University Centre for Language Planning and Global Governance Research, Director of the “Research Base for International Science and Technology Terminology Policy” of the National Committee for Terminology of Science and Technology, Shanghai "Shuguang Scholar".
Author of over 160 papers published in SSCI-, A&HCI-, and CSSCI-indexed journals, including Language Policy, the International Journal of Bilingualism, Foreign Language Teaching and Research, Foreign Languages, Language and Character Application. Recognized as a Highly Cited Researcher in the Social Sciences by Clarivate Analytics' Web of Science (WOS) ESI, his work was featured in the “2019 Highly Cited Papers by Chinese Researchers in the Humanities and Social Sciences”. Prof. Dr. SHEN Qi has led over ten research projects, including the National Social Science Fund Youth Program, the National Social Science Fund General Program, and key projects from the National Language Commission.
