In November 2025, Tongling, a Chinese Tier 1 automotive interior supplier, held the groundbreaking ceremony for its new plant in Irapuato, Guanajuato, Mexico. With a total investment of $90 million, the project will create over 460 direct jobs upon completion.
瓜纳华托州经济部门指出，中国已成为该州重要的战略工业伙伴。近年中方在当地累计投资超 9.7 亿美元，创造了 7400 多个就业岗位，铜陵的入驻延续了这一积极合作趋势，将进一步强化区域汽车供应链韧性。
Guanajuato’s Economic Secretariat stated that China has become a key strategic industrial partner of the state. In recent years, Chinese investments in the region have exceeded $970 million, generating over 7,400 jobs. Tongling’s entry continues this positive cooperation trend and will further enhance the resilience of the regional auto supply chain.
