Peer-to-Peer Learning Event
On Saturday, May 10, Changchun American International School (CAIS) proudly hosted a regional Peer-to-Peer professional learning event, bringing together 20+ educators from international schools across China. This event, themed "Game Changers: Instructional Innovations," focused on the purposeful integration of emerging technologies in education.
Co-hosted by CAIS, Otus, and PeerSphere, the day featured two powerful keynote sessions:
Keynote Session
Daniel Rosenberg (Asia Head, Otus) shared insights on personalizing learning with digital tools and AI, addressing how to break down data silos to empower students.
Keynote Session
Dr. Shannon Doak (Director of Technology, Nanjing International School) explored how generative AI can support space design, transforming classrooms into mission-aligned learning environments.
In addition to the keynotes, participants engaged in breakout sessions on:
l Navigating AI & Responsible Tech Use
l Inquiry-Based Learning with VR & AR
l Creating Collaborative Multimedia Projects
l STEM Programs in the Age of AI

CAIS teachers and students demonstrated our practices and Host Educators exchanged their best practices and reflected on how to balance innovation with responsible implementation.
The day concluded with a dynamic Market Place and a panel discussion on “Scaling Innovation” led by Dr Ildiko Murray, where speakers and participants shared practical strategies for transforming learning through technology.
