Recently, Willfar Information hosted a delegation from the Chilean Ministry of Energy at its Beijing office, accompanied by Director Huang Zun and Dr. Xu Dan from the International Exchange Department of the China Electricity Council (CEC). Both sides conducted in-depth exchanges on power industry development, energy transition plans, and international cooperation opportunities.

Director Huang Zun detailed China’s leapfrog development achievements and technical accumulation in the power sector over the past four decades, systematically presenting mature experience in power grid construction and electricity market reform. Cristóbal Ignacio Cruz Lathrop, Researcher at the Chilean Ministry of Energy, focused on sharing Chile’s 2050 carbon neutrality strategic blueprint, comprehensively elaborating on the country’s development status and transition needs across the entire industrial chain of power generation, transmission, distribution, and sales.

Addressing core topics of interest to the delegation—including smart meter systems supporting electricity market-oriented transactions and real-time electricity price implementation, new energy integration and coordinated control, and electricity transaction security, Willfar’s technical expert, provided professional and in-depth interpretations. Drawing on the company’s practical experience in participating in power transaction system construction for State Grid and China Southern Power Grid, he detailed the innovative applications of relevant technical solutions and shared Willfar’s successful cases in digital grid deployment and smart distribution project implementation across multiple overseas countries and regions, fully demonstrating the company’s technical strength and international service capabilities.

At the end of the exchange, Juan Pablo Vera, Secretary of the Embassy of Chile in China, expressed sincere thanks to Willfar for its outstanding achievements in the power industry and professional sharing during the exchange.
