At the 19th CAEXPO, China Electric International Engineering Co., Ltd. signed an EPC contract with the Philippine side for the Tarlac Solar PV Project. Located in Tarlac City, the project has a photovoltaic capacity of 100 MW.
At the 16th CAEXPO, an enterprise from Beihai City signed a Marine Equipment for Aquaculture and Seafood Processing Industry Project with the Philippine South Asia International Investment Foundation. Located in the Philippines with a total investment of USD 150 million, the project involves mariculture, seafood processing, seaweed, and pearl farming.

At the 15th CAEXPO, the Guangxi Mayors Association signed a cooperation agreement with the League of Cities of the Philippines to jointly promote inter-city exchanges and cooperation.

Since the launch of Pavilion of Cities of Charm at the 2nd CAEXPO in 2005, Philippine provinces, cities, or regions such as Cebu, Bohol, and Palawan have been featured in the "Cities of Charm" zone, showcasing their developments and business opportunities in trade, investment, science and technology, culture, tourism, and people-to-people exchanges.
