Recently, Secretary-General of the CAEXPO Secretariat Wang Jicai met with the Consul-General the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in Nanning. They held friendly discussions on strengthening exchanges and cooperation between the two sides and jointly making preparations for the 23rd China-ASEAN Expo. Deputy Secretary-General of the CAEXPO Secretariat Liang Yiguang attended the meeting.
When paying a courtesy call on Ms. Khaing Su Linn, Consul-General of Myanmar in Nanning, Wang Jicai said that China and Myanmar are connected by mountains and rivers, share profound paukphaw friendship, and bilateral relations have been developing steadily. Myanmar served as the Country of Honor at the 22nd CAEXPO, with the Prime Minister leading a delegation to attend. The exhibition of Myanmar's advantageous industries and featured products during the event, along with activities such as the investment promotion conference, played an important role in deepening the friendly cooperation between the two countries.
