SANY R.E. Ranked No.1 in the "2024 Wind Power Operation Benchmarking Results" released by CEC
Among all wind turbine manufacturers assessed for best regional turbine availability in the "2024 Wind Power Operation Benchmarking Results" recently released by China Electricity Council (CEC) for the power industry, SANY Renewable Energy secured the 1st position among 22 listed OEMs. In the selection of outstanding wind farms, SANY R.E. also reached a new record high in the number of wind farms supplied.
The CEC Wind Power Operation Performance Benchmark is widely regarded as the “gold standard” for evaluating wind power operational quality in China. The results directly reflect turbine reliability, wind farm management capabilities, and power generation profitability. This year, a total of 3,518 wind farms from 55 power generation (investment) groups and new energy companies participated in the benchmarking.
Among the top-performing OEMs in wind turbine availability, 22 domestic and international wind turbine manufacturers made the list. SANY Renewable Energy secured the top position, thanks to its No.1 ranking in turbine availability across 8 major regions in China.
A total of 31 wind farms supplied by SANY R.E. made the list of award-winning wind farms, with 6 earning the prestigious title of "5A-level Excellent Wind Farms" —once again setting a new record.
All 31 wind farms reported ultra-high turbine availability rates, with many exceeding 3,000 full-load hours annually. Among them, Huaneng Fuxin Jinsha Wind Farm stood out with over 4,100 full-load hours, making it a true standout.
SANY R.E.’s top ranking in turbine availability on the authoritative CEC list is a testament to our long-standing commitment to technological innovation and exceptional quality. In response to the industry’s ongoing challenge of balancing LCOE and power generation efficiency, SANY R.E. has built a comprehensive lifecycle reliability assurance system based on 4 key pillars: platform-based design, intelligent manufacturing, in-depth validation, and smart O&M. This integrated approach has significantly enhanced the overall performance of wind farms, contributing to the continuous development of high-quality wind power projects.
