Telight, a pioneering innovator in optical instrumentation for the life sciences in Czech Republic, has completed the successful installation of its holographic microscope, Q-Phase, at the prestigious Xiangtan University in China. This landmark event signifies the first deployment of this advanced research tool in the Chinese scientific community.

捷克的光学仪器领域先驱Telight公司近期在中国顶尖学府湘潭大学成功完成其全息显微镜Q-Phase的安装工作。这一里程碑事件标志着该先进科研工具首次成功引入中国科学界。

The Q-Phase microscope is a specialized holographic microscope that allows for gentle imaging of living cells without the need for labeling. It uses unique and patented technology that allows researchers to gather quantitative data about their cells. Each captured holographic image translates directly into quantitative data points, enabling precise statistical analysis of cell characteristics. The Q-Phase microscope was installed at the end of April in its most advanced configuration. The system accommodates multiple studies simultaneously, providing extensive capabilities for various research conditions.

Q-Phase显微镜作为专业级全息成像设备,可实现活细胞的无标记温和成像。该仪器采用独家的专利技术,能帮助研究人员获取细胞定量数据——每一帧全息图像均可直接转化为定量数据点,从而实现对细胞特征的精准统计分析。四月底投入使用的这台显微镜搭载最先进的系统配置,可同时支持多项研究课题,为不同实验条件提供全面的科研支持。


The extensive number of applications that can be covered with this microscope covers and allows its usage in various fields of biomedical research, oncology, neurology, and fundamental biological investigations. It plays a pivotal role in enhancing the depth and precision of critical studies such as stem cell research, innovative approaches to cancer treatment, and investigations into the cell death processes. By providing detailed, quantitative data, the microscope empowers scientists to achieve a more nuanced understanding of cellular behaviors and interactions, paving the way for groundbreaking medical and scientific breakthroughs.

这款显微镜广泛的应用范围使其能够覆盖生物医学研究、肿瘤学、神经学及基础生物学等多个领域。它在提升干细胞研究、创新癌症疗法、细胞死亡过程等关键课题的研究深度与精确度方面发挥着核心作用。通过提供详尽的定量数据,该设备使科学家能更精准地解析细胞行为与相互作用,为开创性的医学与科学突破铺平道路。

The team of Professor Li Feng and Dr. Wu Jianjian from the university plan to utilize the Q-Phase system extensively in their investigations into single-cell morphodynamics, focusing particularly on dynamic changes during apoptosis (cell death), employing the advanced label-free quantitative imaging technology provided by the microscope.

湘潭大学李峰教授与伍健健博士团队计划充分运用Q-Phase系统,在其单细胞形态动力学研究中重点观测细胞凋亡过程的动态变化。该团队将借助显微镜提供的先进无标记定量成像技术,深入开展此项研究。


This installation was made possible through our strategic collaboration with Quantum Design China, a respected leader in distributing advanced scientific instruments across the region.

此次安装项目的成功实施,得益于我们与中国科学仪器领域的卓越企业——Quantun Design (China)(全称:QUANTUM量子科学仪器贸易有限公司)的战略合作。


Telights instruments are globally recognized, with installations at leading research centers such as the Jacques Monod Institute and Pasteur Institute in Paris, the Max Planck Institute in Dresden, the University of Crete in Heraklion or the prestigious University of Warwick in the UK. Telight aims to strengthen international research collaborations, bridging the gap between European and Asian scientific communities, using Xiangtan University as a pivotal reference site and collaboration hub for researchers from a similar field.
