On 27th August, the European Chamber Shanghai Chapter hosted an event on labour relations adjustment case studies.
The event opened with welcoming remarks from Dr Ioana Kraft, Chair of the Human Resources Working Group, who framed the discussion around current challenges in labour relations and the importance of fostering constructive communication.

This was followed by the keynote speech by Alex Xing, Managing Partner at LABOURS, who highlighted organizational change and coping strategies under the new High Courts Interpretation II, as well as compliance challenges in managing executives’ low performance.

After a short coffee break, the discussion continued with a deep dive into communication empowerment, focusing on risk prevention and approaches to resolving disputes related to mental illness cases.
The session concluded with a Q&A session with the audience, offering practical clarifications and case-based insights, before closing remarks were delivered by Dr Ioana Kraft.
