The Project Manager plays a critical role in leading the development and delivery of POS terminal products from concept to market. This position requires strong leadership and cross-functional coordination skills to guide the entire product lifecycle while ensuring alignment with business goals, market needs, and industry compliance. Ideal candidates will bring solid project management experience in the POS or embedded systems domain, strong technical insight, and a track record of successfully launching complex products.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Product Delivery Aligned with Strategy and Roadmap
Collaborate with stakeholders to define product requirements and technical vision.
Conduct early-stage research to align technology with market needs and business goals.
Understand product roadmaps and development priorities.
Cross-Functional Project Leadership
Lead cross-functional teams through all phases of product development.
Plan and execute projects to meet milestones and timelines using IPD methodology.
Serve as the key liaison for stakeholders, including senior leadership.
Product Development Management
Work with engineering to define specifications and validate technical feasibility.
Oversee prototyping, testing, and refinement to ensure readiness for mass production.
Drive continuous improvement based on testing results and market feedback.
Monitor product performance and adjust strategies as needed
Lifecycle and Compliance Oversight
Manage the full product lifecycle to ensure ongoing competitiveness.
Collaborate with supply chain and manufacturing to optimize cost without sacrificing quality.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory certifications (e.g., EMV, PCI DSS).
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
5+ years of experience in product management, project management, or product development within the POS terminal or related industries.
Proven track record of successfully bringing new technology-driven products to market from concept to launch.
International work experience (development and go-to-market strategies) is highly preferred.
Strong proficiency in English, with excellent reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
Deep understanding of the POS industry, including market trends, competitive landscape, and key technologies such as NFC, EMV, and contactless payment.
Solid project management skills, with experience leading complex, cross-functional teams and managing multiple product development cycles simultaneously.
Technical acumen in both hardware and software development, especially in embedded systems, IoT, or payment technologies.
Demonstrated ability to solve complex product challenges with creativity and pragmatism.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and guide teams to success.
Passion for learning and continuous improvement, with sound knowledge of software, security, risk, compliance, and operational best practices across service delivery contexts.
Deep understanding of the IPD (Integrated Product Development) process.
Certifications in PMP, Agile, or similar project management methodologies.
Experience in global product development and go-to-market strategies.
Familiarity with international payment standards and certification processes.
