*Please register by 12:00 PM on 29th October if you do not hold a CIIE main pass or a CIIE side event pass to ensure entry.
As small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) continue to play a vital role in driving innovation and growth across China and the EU, access to effective and appropriate financing tools remains one of their most pressing challenges.
Co-organised by the European Chamber and EU SME Centre during the China International Import Expo (CIIE), this session will take a practical look at the financing realities for SMEs in China. Speakers will share insights on available financing policies, schemes, and incentives, and explore how to integrate financial strategies with talent retention and technology adoption. Real-world examples and case studies will illustrate approaches that address both immediate financing needs and long-term business sustainability.
Participants will also have the opportunity to engage directly with speakers during the Q&A segment, allowing them to raise their own challenges and explore practical solutions relevant to their business.
About the EU SME Centre
The EU SME Centre is a European Union initiative that provides a comprehensive range of hands-on support services to European small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), getting them ready to do business in China. Currently in Phase V of the project (2025-2028), the EU SME Centre is implemented by four consortium partners and two associated partners – the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC), the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China, Italy China Council Foundation (ICCF), Sociedade Portuguesa de Inovação (SPI), Trade Promotion Europe (TPE), and the EU-China Business Association (EUCBA), bringing an unprecedented mix of relevant and complementary expertise and network to the EU SME Centre, with headquarters in Europe and in China.
