During the meeting, Ren Hongbin emphasized the great potential of bilateral relations, stressing the willingness for cooperation "at the highest level" between China and Spain. He called on both sides to explore new areas of collaboration in strategic sectors such as innovation, technology, clean energy, and digital transition. He also reminded that "China is a big market" and advocated for expanding sectoral cooperation to create more opportunities for Spanish companies.

Inmaculada Riera, in turn, underscored the strategic importance of China in the Spanish economic landscape and agreed on the vast growth potential of ties between both countries. She stressed that, in the current global context, strengthening these relations is more relevant than ever. Riera also highlighted the active role of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in promoting institutional, commercial, and economic engagement between both nations.

This meeting marks a new boost to bilateral relations and opens the door to future collaborations in high value-added sectors, reaffirming the mutual commitment to shared economic development.
