The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC), together with its Mechanical Engineering Working Group (MEWG) and Energy and Environmental Protection Working Group (EEPWG), is pleased to invite you to an exclusive company visit and roundtable at Jiangsu GMO Hi-Tech Co., Ltd., a leading enterprise in the field of low-carbon and multi-energy solutions.
GMO Hi-Tech is recognized as a national high-tech enterprise, a provincial-level engineering technology center, and a demonstration company for specialized, refined, characteristic, and innovative industries. The visit will offer participants a unique insight into the company’s innovative approach to green electricity, solar thermal, air energy, and modular energy systems, showcasing how technology and digitalization contribute to higher efficiency and sustainability.
Event Focus
Following the company visit, participants will join a roundtable discussion designed to foster dialogue between industry experts, and representatives of Italian and Chinese companies.
A keynote speech by a leading consulting firm will provide an overview of China’s latest Five-Year Plan, highlighting opportunities and challenges in carbon reduction, sustainability, and energy transition.
The session will continue with a panel discussion featuring GMO’s R&D management and Italian company representatives on the theme: “Product Innovation for Energy Savings: Improving Efficiency and Extending Product Lifespan.”

About Mechanical Engineering Working Group (MEWG)
The MEWG represents the interest of all Italian companies in China working directly or indirectly in the sector on a national base.
MEWG Objectives:
Coordinate and promote all Italian members’ needs which are active in many different industries of the Chinese mechanical engineering sector (machinery, automotive, component manufacturers, mechanical engineering...);
Promote and raise awareness of the size and the importance of Italian technology in the sector to all counterparts in China and Italy, in order to develop business opportunities.
Coordinate and promote activities and events that boost the visibility and the image of “Technology Made in Italy”.
Become a reference for all mechanical engineering companies within the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce.
About Energy & Environment Protection Working Group (EEPWG)
EEPWG is a working group within the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce. It welcomes all Italian companies, entities, and individuals operating within the energy and environmental protection industrial sectors along the relative value chains (upstream, downstream, fossil energy, renewable energy, distribution, consumption, emission/water/waste/soil treatment, energy saving, etc.). EEPWG is supported by the Embassy of Italy to the PRC in its aim of representing the active coordination structure of the “Pacchetto Energia/Ambiente” and subsequent agreements.
