MISSION
This position supports a team dedicated to supplier coordination, product creation, and production oversight for branded merchandise, promotional gifts, and accessories, contributing to the design process by leveraging project briefs and varied creative resources. It balances imaginative concepts with practical execution, ensuring ideas are both fresh and workable. The role is essential in crafting innovative, client-focused product solutions that stand out in the market. As a Fashion Industrial Product Developer & Designer, the individual will drive the design and development of gifts and accessories for client brands, incorporating current trends, delivering original ideas, and guiding concepts through to prototype while staying true to brand vision and eco-friendly goals.
RESPONSABILITES
Track and assess ongoing and upcoming trends in fashion, accessories, gifts, and materials.
Compile and present insights on market developments and trends that fit client brand goals.
Create trend guides for internal training and joint sessions with clients.
Visit suppliers of accessories and materials, maintaining an updated collection of resources.
Translate client outlines into unique, trend-focused merchandise designs that stay within budget limits.
Analyze brand details to ensure designs reflect its essence.
Suggest eco-friendly materials and methods, weighing cost against sustainability.
Draft initial sketches, patterns, and artwork, including visual concepts and renderings.
Work with manufacturers to produce prototypes, monitoring quality from start to finish.
Keep the sample space organized and functional.
Develop technical sheets for manufacturing, including detailed technical specifications.
Produce initial drafts and refined visualizations.
Design patterns and artwork and prepare other presentation materials.
REQUIREMENTS
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and rendering tools like CLO3D.
Skilled in blending fashion creativity with practical execution.
Strong knowledge of textile processing and product development within budget limits.
Experienced in collaborating with manufacturers for prototyping.
Able to identify and address technical and production challenges.
Effective communicator with teams and external partners.
Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
Familiar with ERP systems for workflow management.
Open to frequent travel, mainly in southern China.
Preference for french-speaking profiles with English proficiency
