ABOUT THE COMPANY

Our client is a leading manufacturer of sportswear, casual wear with international leadership that specializes in the design and the production of high-performance athletic apparel for men and women. Their HQ and Creative Center are based in Hong Kong, while their manufacturing plant is in South China (Zhongshan).

MISSION

They are searching for a R&D Product Engineer across the world. In this role, you willdrive R&D projects, integrate new materials, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure products meet sustainability and quality standards to support partnerships with global sports brands.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead R&D for apparel/footwear/gear; integrate new materials and develop prototypes.

• Monitor sports trends, benchmark competitors, and optimize product performance.

• Collaborate with clients to translate feedback into R&D actions; ensure sustainability compliance.

• Coordinate cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s+ in Textile/Product Engineering; 5+ years in apparel/footwear R&D.
• Strong textile knowledge; CAD software proficiency (plus); excellent English (Mandarin/Cantonese a plus).
• Problem-solving skills; cross-cultural collaboration ability; passion for sports/innovation.
