Recently, at the 2025 (74th) Electrical Machinery Industry Technical Achievement Commendation organized by the Japan Electrical Manufacturers’ Association (JEMA), Haier’s Japan R&D Center earned one Excellence Award and two Encouragement Awards in recognition of its outstanding technological innovation and product capabilities. A total of eight Japanese employees took the stage to receive the honors.
The Excellence Award was presented to two engineers and one external partner who developed a refrigerator equipped with LED technology designed to maintain the freshness of fruits and vegetables. This technology has demonstrated exceptional performance in extending the shelf life of food and enhancing users’ health experiences.
The two Encouragement Awards went to the teams that developed a low-vibration washing machine and an AI-powered washing optimization system, respectively. The former minimizes vibrations caused by drum imbalance during washing, providing a quieter and more stable laundry experience; the latter uses AI and sensing technologies to automatically identify fabric conditions and determine the optimal washing process, achieving a balance between efficiency and energy saving.
Established in 1952, the Electrical Machinery Industry Technical Achievement Commendation is one of the most influential awards in Japan’s electrical machinery, home appliance, and energy sectors. It is widely regarded as a hall of honor for Japanese engineers. The recognition of Haier’s Japan R&D Center not only underscores its strong innovation capability and localization achievements but also highlights Haier’s steady commitment to deepening its roots in the Japanese market and advancing user-centered product upgrades.

荣获电机工业技术功绩者表彰
多项大奖
近日，在日本电机工业会（JEMA）主办的“2025年度（第74届）电机工业技术功绩者表彰”中，海尔日本研发中心凭借卓越的技术创新与产品实力，荣获1项优良奖和2项鼓励奖，共计8名日籍员工登台领奖。
其中，优良奖授予了开发搭载能保持蔬菜和水果新鲜度的LED技术冰箱的两位工程师及一位外部合作伙伴。该技术在延长食品保鲜周期、提升用户健康体验方面表现突出。
两项鼓励奖分别颁发给开发低振动洗衣机和AI洗涤优化的团队。前者通过抑制因滚筒内衣物偏移而引发的振动，实现更安静、更稳定的洗涤体验；后者利用AI与传感技术自动识别衣物状况，制定最优洗涤流程，实现高效与节能的平衡。
“电机工业技术功绩者表彰”设立于1952年，是日本电机、家电、能源等产业领域最具影响力的技术奖项之一，被誉为日本技术人员的荣誉殿堂。海尔日本研发中心此次获奖，既是对其技术创新能力和本地化研发成果的高度肯定，也彰显了海尔持续深耕日本市场、以用户为中心推进产品升级的坚定步伐。
