The School of International Relations and Public Affairs (SIRPA) stands as a leading institution in the fields of politics and public affairs. Its Politics discipline is ranked 20th, and Social Policy & Administration is 40th worldwide in the QS World University Rankings by Subject (2025), highlighting SIRPA’s global influence and academic distinction.
SIRPA have established a comprehensive English-taught education system. Not only for Chinese students, our courses, advisors and other educational resources are all open for international students to fully use.
Over 60 international students are admitted in our English-taught programs each year, which contributes a big portion of international students at SIRPA and in Fudan University. We are also thrived in hosting degree and non-degree visiting students from more than 20 top universities around the world. It is the variety of these students that makes the campus more dynamic, creative and multi-cultural.

Doctoral Program of Public Administration and Policy (DPAP)
#Program Overview
The Doctoral Program of Public Administration and Policy (DPAP) is a four-year, full-time, English-taught program designed to train internationally competitive scholars and practitioners in the field of public governance. Anchored in China’s governance experience while integrating global perspectives, the program combines theoretical rigor with practical engagement. It focuses on frontier areas such as digital governance transformation, emergency management, and evidence-based policy evaluation, aiming to nurture a new generation of global public governance leaders.
Master's Program in BRICS Countries and the Global South (MPB+)
#Program Overview
The Master’s Program in BRICS and Global South Studies (MPB+) is a two-year English-taught program that prepares globally minded professionals with interdisciplinary knowledge and applied policy skills. Drawing on the governance experiences of BRICS and other Global South countries, the program addresses shared development challenges, promotes South–South cooperation, and encourages localized theoretical innovation to enhance the voice and participation of the Global South in global governance.
