AustCham China attended the 2025 Beijing Chaoyang Autumn Reception for Expatriates, hosted by the Chaoyang District Government on the evening of 12 October 2025 along the Liangma River. The event brought together representatives from international chambers of commerce, multinational enterprises, and the expatriate community in Beijing.
中国澳大利亚商会出席了由北京市朝阳区政府主办的“2025北京朝阳外籍人士金秋招待会”。活动于2025年10月12日晚在亮马河畔举行，吸引了来自国际商会、跨国企业及在京外籍人士社区的代表参加。
During the ceremony, AustCham China Chair Vaughn Barber was honoured with the title of “Phoenix Friendship Ambassador”, in recognition of his important contributions to Chaoyang District’s economic and social development and to fostering friendly exchanges between China and other countries.
在活动中，中国澳大利亚商会会长冯栢文荣获“凤凰友谊大使”荣誉称号，以表彰其为朝阳区经济社会发展及促进中外友好交流作出了重要贡献。
Chaoyang District Party Secretary Wu Xiaojie, District Mayor Nie Jieying, and other district leaders, attended the event and delivered remarks. Mayor Nie reaffirmed Chaoyang’s international business environment and building a more open, friendly, and convenient global cooperation platform, offering better services and broader opportunities for expatriates and international enterprises in Beijing.
朝阳区委书记吴小杰、区长聂杰英等区领导出席活动并致辞。聂杰英区长表示，朝阳区将持续优化国际化营商环境，打造更加开放、友好、便利的全球合作平台，为外籍人士和国际企业在京发展提供更优质的服务和更广阔的空间。
The event also featured the release of two important publications — “Beijing Chaoyang through Foreign Eyes 2025” and the “Beijing Chaoyang International City Exchange Lounge Handbook” — as well as cultural activities such as a Liangma River night cruise and a BBC audiovisual concert, which highlighted the district’s urban vitality and international flair.
活动现场发布了两份重要成果——《外国人眼中的北京朝阳2025》研究报告及《北京朝阳国际城市交往会客厅指南》，并安排了亮马河夜游与BBC视听音乐会等文化体验环节，充分展现了朝阳的城市魅力与国际风范。
Through active participation in such initiatives, AustCham China continues to serve as a bridge connecting Australian enterprises with Beijing’s international community, fostering collaboration, mutual growth, and an open and inclusive business ecosystem.
