On October 29, Ambassador Huang Shifang met with Mr. J. Bissoondoyal, Secretary for Foreign Affairs. The two sides exchanged views on bilateral relations and matters of mutual concern.
Ambassador Huang stated that China is willing to enhance communication and coordination with the Mauritian side to jointly promote the China-Mauritius strategic partnership to new heights.
Mr. Bissoondoyal noted that Mauritius attaches great importance to its relations with China and firmly adheres to the one-China principle. Mauritius is willing to strengthen its practical cooperation with China in various fields.
