On Oct 20, at the Multilateral Dialogue on Global Green Ports of the North Bund International Shipping Forum, senior executives and renowned scholars from the global port and shipping industry conducted in-depth exchanges and built consensus on sustainable development, aiming to work together to build a green future for the "World Port Family". SPG Chairman Huo Gaoyuan delivered a speech, sharing SPG's practices in advancing green port development.
A SPG delegation led by General Manager Li Fengli visited Germany and Belgium from Oct 20 to 24, during when Li attended activities such as the 2025 Qingdao-Germany economic and trade cooperation seminar and the annual summit of the Global Maritime Forum, visited Consulate-General of the People's Republic of China in Dusseldorf and partners as well as promoted SPG's integrated supply chain solutions, as part of efforts to deepen cooperation in various fields, expand SPG's overseas business and bolster green development of the maritime industry.
A carrier loaded with 41 new energy electric mining trucks and 26,000 tons of cargoes departed from Qingdao Port and bounded for West Africa. This marked the official launch of the West Africa-bound break-bulk shipping route, which was jointly operated by Qingdao Port and COSCO SHIPPING Specialized Carriers.
With 27,000 cubic meters of mechanical equipment loaded onto a bulk carrier TOP ADVANCER at Yantai Port, the Yantai-Tanzania (Port of Tanga) break-bulk shipping route was officially launched. This has brought the number of Yantai Port's international break-bulk shipping routes to 29, thereby injecting new impetus into high-quality Belt and Road cooperation.
