As international climate targets tighten and value chain transparency becomes the norm, companies operating in China — or sourcing from it — are under increasing pressure to integrate renewable energy into their operations and reporting frameworks. To help address this, this online session aims to spotlight the intersection of corporate sustainability strategy, renewable energy sourcing, and renewable energy market evolution. This session brings together insights from Climate Bridge, a key player in China's renewable energy landscape, and EKOenergy, the only global ecolabel in the world for renewable electricity, recognised by major international standards, e.g. RE100 and CDP, and used by industry leaders, e.g. Microsoft, Mercedes-Benz, SAP, and more.

She collaborates with energy providers, businesses, and stakeholders to expand the adoption of EKOenergy, ensuring that renewable procurement drives both climate action and global sustainability initiatives. At EKOenergy, she also supports outreach in the APACA markets, including the growing interest and activity in China.

With a background in sustainability and circular economy, Joanne has worked across business and nonprofit sectors, leading impact-driven initiatives that bridge the gap between awareness and action.

Joanne holds an MBA in strategy and nonprofit management. Passionate about accelerating a just transition, Joanne focuses on building partnerships that scale transformative solutions and empower businesses to make responsible energy choices.

Apply fapiao when purchasing a ticket, by inputting the Chinese entity name and tax ID (if the title is wrong, you will be unable to receive the Fapaio).
